Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions for Online Sales (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) apply to all purchase orders you place on the Venice Luxury Glass online store located at www.veniceluxuryglass.com (hereinafter referred to as “Website”) and your subsequent agreement with Venice Luxury Glass, trademark of Cromia Glass s.n.c. with office in Fondamenta Serenella 3/4, 30141 Murano Venice, Italy, Fiscal Code IT03025190277 (hereinafter referred to as “Venice Luxury Glass”) regarding your purchase of Venice Luxury Glass products, tangible movable property indicated and offered for sale (hereinafter referred to as “Products”).

Premise

The primary “mission” of Venice Luxury Glass is Customer satisfaction and all the company’s staff is committed to achieving this goal.

1. Services offered by the site

The Website allows you to purchase decorative glass products for interior design such as centerpieces, sculptures, plates, mirrors, steles, wall art decorations, chandeliers, vases, drinking glasses. The products offered on the Website are all handmade. All final prices of the products displayed on the Website are expressed in euros. The prices of the products may be subject to change by Venice Luxury Glass. For most products and offers shipping costs are included. For some products, shipping cost is listed in the checkout.

2. Choice of product and method of purchase

The user can proceed to the selection of the products as described in the relevant sections, selecting them each time and adding the desired quantities in their shopping cart. The images are provided for information purposes and may differ slightly from the appearance of the delivered product because they are handmade. All items are first choice and are guaranteed “Genuine Murano Glass”.

Our decorations are produced exclusively with artistic Murano glass and are handcrafted. All our products are subjected to a careful quality control; imperfections, irregularities and minor variations in size are a quality of handmade products. Any slight color differences may be due to different batches of glass or the type of processing: glass-melting. The small air bubbles present in glass objects are an integral part of the processing and do not give rise to disputes.

At the end of the selection of the desired items, a screen will be displayed to send the order with an indication of the total costs and expenses. Once the estimate has been confirmed, the user will be asked to complete the order through payment.

3. Payments 

The customer can purchase the products online and make payments by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or PayPal, following the instructions indicated for the purchase procedure. 

The information required for payment will be forwarded, via encrypted protocols, to the payment institution to which Venice Luxury Glass entrusts electronic payment services remotely, without access by third parties.

Payments must be made at the same time as the order and, only after payment, the selected items will be shipped to the user and/or put into production. 

The invoice for the purchased products will be sent during shipping.

4. Delivery and shipping time

The delivery of the products will be made on the dates selected by the user in the quote phase. The terms are calculated from the completion of the order, i.e. upon receipt of the confirmation. The order must be considered not completed until payment has been made by the user. 

Shipping and delivery will take place within the terms selected in the estimate on condition that the purchase order is completed. 

Venice Luxury Glass will not be liable in any case of possible damage caused by delays in delivery.

The products are carefully packed with high-quality materials. Strong cardboard boxes are used for shipping and the contents are well protected with layers of polystyrene. Each box is designed in size and weight in order to be easily handled. For no reason the customer can refuse to release the goods ordered on arrival.

5. Liability

The Seller’s liability for defects of the goods sold, if promptly denounced and established jointly with the same, is limited exclusively to the free replacement of the defective material. Compensation for any damage, direct or indirect, suffered by the customer is excluded in any case.

6. Complaints

Complaints of any shortages or breakages must be made exclusively to the carrier (at the time of the discharge of the material with a note on the transportation document), giving immediate notice to Venice Luxury Glass by e-mail to: service@veniceluxuryglass.com and attaching one or more photos of the defective or damaged product near its original packaging. Any other claims related to the nature and / or characteristics of the material must be promptly forwarded to the Seller by e-mail and not later than 14 days from the receipt of goods.

AFTER SUCH TERM IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT THE GOODS HAVE BEEN SEEN AND ACCEPTED.

After receiving the email with the images, Venice Luxury Glass will do its best to respond to the report received as soon as possible. All shipping costs for the return of the product and/or any taxes or customs duties are the full responsibility of the user.

7. Dispute settlement and court

Whatever the nationality and residence of the Customer, this contract is subject to Italian law, the Italian Civil Code and the jurisdiction of the Italian Judge.

Any dispute arising between the parties will be transferred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Venice, Italy as the only competent court, that is the Justice of the Peace of Venice, Italy, when this is in charge of such potential dispute.
